Just like Daddy!

How fun it is to watch my husband and daughter together! God has blessed us with a wonderful child! Yet, she is beginning to become defiant, surely due to her age and we are then just starting our struggle with discipline. As you will see in the pictures below, God has made it easy for us to see that she mimics our behavior; so, perhaps we need to approach the "Terrible Two's" by behaving ourselves and setting the best example possible!?!?
Both love watching "WonderPets" and eating popcorn. It's typical for them to do this on a Wed or Thurs afternoon.
Mer got a step stool for Christmas and carries it around from room to room in order to participate in whatever it is that we're doing. She loves to help Daddy cook!
On SuperBowl Day, which we do not discuss the details of in our home, Aaron is teaching Meredith signals for first down and touch down.
After one of our big snows, Meredith is helping Daddy "shobel".
The two of them came home one Monday afternoon from the library with a VeggieTales workout video. Here they are in action: Daddy got a workout and Mer got the hiccups from giggling.

Snow fun at Jessie's!

Jessie is our neighbor across the street who watches Meredith in the mornings while I teach. She and her boys (Collin is the same age as Mer and Dylan is five) took her outside today to play in the snow!

Colors!

Meredith was so excited when she got "colors" for a Christmas present... Little did she know that these were special colors for use in the bath tub! In addition, she got some other fun bath toys too! As you can see she loves bathtime even more!

Stickers!

So what do you do when your parents make you ride in the car to Indiana, back to Wisconsin, to South Dakota, back to Wisconsin and you get bored and tired of sleeping?

Put stickers on your face of course!

Merry Christmas!

Wow...time flies. Here it is almost February and we are just getting to the Christmas post. We were blessed to visit both Indiana and South Dakota (despite the bizzard) over our Christmas break. It was good to be with loved ones over the holidays, but even better to be home - there is truly no place like it.

We hope all of you had a blessed Christmas spent celebrating the birth of our Savior and King, Jesus Christ.

Enjoy the pics!

Uncle Michael, Aunt Clare and Uncle Jeremy (all the way from Hawaii) at the Wisconsin Staub home. It was great to see you all - even if it was less than 24 hours! Please come again soon!

Meredith got to experience her first Indiana snow. Grandpa Staub sure loved pulling her around. (Not to mention spoiling the heck out of her while she was there.)

The Staubs on Christmas - minus one. Mom spent Christmas in the hospital. She is better now and we praise God for that! It certainly wasn't the same without you there on Christmas morning!
