Coming soon

I'll attempt to get online soon and update with "Everyday Life with Gabrielle". Much appreciation goes to our followers (i.e., Marissa & Mariah, Aunt Lisa, relatives in Oregon, Uncle Jeremy and of course Meema) as you consistently visit our site to see if we've updated. We'll try to get better at doing it more regularly. --Kelli

Everyday Life with Meredith

After 7 1/2 months of potty training--she is finally able to wear "panties" all of the time! Here's a picture of what we had to do to get her to go #2 on the toilet. For over a year, she would go #2 in her diaper every time she played with her LittlePeople. We brought the LittlePeople to her on the toilet to get her to go! It was our beloved Aunt Kate who came up with this idea.
She is into chocolate, a lot. Yesterday I was dumbfounded when I was cleaning up lunch and she was still sitting at the table spelling, "H - E - R - S - H - E - Y - S". She knows lots of letters and can only spell her full name, Daddy, Tim, Hersheys and Oreo.
For about a month, she's been able to dress herself. Every once in a while, things will go awry.
We go to story time at the library every Tuesday morning. I caught her mimicking the librarian who reads to the kids. If I had to guess what her profession would be someday: LIBRARIAN. She is obsessed with books, and often memorizes them. I just asked her what her favorite book is: "Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..... welllllllllllllllllll... Micky Mouse Mother Goose."
Here she is sitting next to me now putting a puzzle together. If anyone's shopping for a birthday gift for her--she'd love a puzzle.

A day at the Children's Museum!

Uncle Tim and Aunt Holly gave us a gift certificate for a day at the local children's museum. Both daughters, as well as Daddy, had a wonderful time.
