Meredith's First Day of School!

Back in early May, the high school had a walk-a-thon to raise money for student scholarships. We took Meredith that day and because she still can't walk, she got pulled in her new wagon.

Look closely and you'll find Meredith in the middle of this picture of my first period chemistry class. What a group.

Meredith's buddy Wesley came to school too that day! Wesley's daddy is the business teacher. Wesley and Meredith were born on the same day. Hopefully they'll go to school together someday.

She was only at school for about three hours and she got exhausted!

She only went to school for one day and she can already read! ;)

Cousins came!

A few weeks ago, all sorts of cousins from South Dakota came to visit us and help celebrate Meredith's birthday! It was Aubree and Elle's first time here! Wish everyone could come every weekend.

I wanted to take so many pictures all day... Meredith got tired of them fast.

Meredith is one today! We can hardly believe that a year went by so fast. We had many, many people that came to share in her special day. Here are some pictures of the day.

Go Cubs Go!

As I mentioned in the previous post, we didn't have any family over for Easter. However, Uncle Jer did come down that evening so we could go to a Cubs game at Miller Park in Milwaukee. Of course, the Cubs won, but it was a game saving catch by Reed Johnson to rob Prince Fielder from a grand slam! (Click the link below to see the video.) We loved every minute of it! Happy Easter!

What a powerful message for Easter! Because of the resurrection of Christ, we too have the same hope!

Our Easter was pretty quiet. It was nice to be home and spend time with Meredith. Here are some pictures from the day:
